WHO WE ARE

The current Roden scholars aim to develop the confidence and skills needed to be successful leaders in the engineering world. We do this by placing young, qualified students in positions of responsibility early in their college careers, giving them valuable experience that would take longer to obtain through the traditional path to leadership in other engineering student orgs.

Roden is a flat organization, so every member has equal right to attend meetings, give input, and coordinate events. A student Chair and Vice Chair provide direction to the organization and work to keep things running smoothly.

We strive to build strong connections between members as well as alumni, who have gone on to top tier engineering companies, consulting firms, and academic institutions. Some have even gone on to found their own companies.
